2. Customized options

Being able to choose the avors and ingredients they want to add to their coffee isn't an
entirely new idea, but the trend of the past year shows that more and more people are showing
increased interest. 2023 is expected to be the year where consumers will want to create their
own beverages, based on their own taste preferences and habits.

         Sustainable Coffee

Coffee lovers are aware of the
impact the coffee industry has on
         the environment and the world
         around them. Because of this
         awareness and concern for the
         planet, more consumers are
         demanding sustainable coffee.
What is sustainable coffee? It is
coffee grown in ways that are
         better for the environment while
         also helping to provide livelihood
bene ts for the farmers. This
         requirement helps to stabilize the
         working relationship between
         farmers and the companies that
buy their coffee, while it now
         translates more directly than ever
         to retail.

By focusing more on the people
         involved in the coffee-making
         process, companies are moving in
         this direction, through
         partnerships with organizations
such as Fair Trade and Rainforest
         Alliance and have products that
          nd greater response among
         younger and more
         environmentally conscious
         consumers, who also consider
         responsible coffee consumption
         as a sociological necessity.
